In
limited showing in the AKC in 2009, he received an Award of Merit and was
the Best Brindle at the American Bullmastiff Association Specialty Show (Stumptown
Cluster) in Portland, OR. In Canada, Remi became a new champion and
was Best of Breed/Best of Winners at the Peace Arch Working and Herding
Association Specialty Show.
In
July, 2010, Remi began competing in Rally. In his first weekend of
competition at the Stumptown Cluster in Portland, OR, he completed 2 of 3
legs toward his Rally Novice (RN) title, earning 2nd and 4th place (lost
the tie-breaker for 3rd place based on time) among all Novice A competitors.
That weekend, Remi was also Best Brindle at the American Bullmastiff
Association Specialty Show (the second year in a row he has earned
this honor). In August, 2010, at the Olympic Kennel Club in Enumclaw, WA,
Remi earned his RN title and 3rd place among all Novice A competitors.
